House Bill 2273 was Truly Agreed and Finally Passed. Language within the bill reads, “2. The hours of continuing education required for renewal of a license under this section shall include two hours of sex and human trafficking training for the first renewal cycle after initial licensure and one hour of sex and human trafficking training for each licensure renewal thereafter, consistent with the guidelines established in section 210.1505. The provisions of this subsection shall become effective on January 1, 2027, and shall expire on December 31, 2031.”
These two hours are part of the thirty hours required to renew.
